1st Annual Golf Tournament A huge SUCCESS!
Thank you to all who participated in our first tournament fundraiser. With your support we raised $6,000 towards caring for the many wildlife patients at SOH! The golf was fantastic ... thanks to Mill Run Golf Club who also gave us a wonderful lunch and dinner; and the many supporters who donated the amazing auction items! Entertained by auctioneer Michael Schurman, the Live Auction was a challenge for bidders but everyone had a good time and went home with a smile!

Fifty Shades of Comedy
How wonderful it is to laugh!!
When life is tough, it is especially important to find humor and amusement to promote the release of endorphins … the “happy cells” that encourage healing and well being!! If only we could make our injured wildlife patients laugh! But, maybe we will as this fabulous fund raiser was definitely a success! It was the wish of my long time friend Maralyn Wright (Stretch) to put together an event to raise funds for our wildlife rescue work here at SOH. Fighting a long battle with cancer, Stretch knows the positive power of laughter.
So, in honour of Stretch we raised the roof with 50 Shades of Comedy!
