Become a Member

Please consider becoming a member of our growing family.  A monthly pledge of as little as $10 would greatly assist us in budgeting our monthly care costs so that we can concentrate on giving the best possible care to our patients.  A little contribution by many people makes a large impact.

Members will be given a link to our private Facebook Membership Group Page, which will have expanded coverage, more videos and more extensive follow-ups accessible only by those who pledge monthly.  Enjoy ‘behind the scene’ videos and updates not available elsewhere.

For a monthly donation of $50 or more, become a VIP Member and receive an invitation for two to the Annual Fall Tour of our facilities.

To become a member:
   1.  Click on the Membership button above.
   2.  You will be redirected to our Canada Helps donation page.
   3.  Select the "Donate Monthly" box.
   4.  Enter your monthly pledge, and fill in your donation details.
   5.  As a new member of the Shades of Hope family, you will receive an email invitation to our private membership Facebook page.

Our many wildlife patients Thank You for your ongoing support!

We could use your help

Make A Difference, Help Save Wild Lives
As a Charitable Organization, Shades of Hope greatly values the gifts of time and talent that our Volunteers contribute. If you would like to offer your help in the aid of injured and orphaned wildlife, please understand that this is a big commitment!

Regular ‘hands on’ help is needed to support the day to day animal management.  Volunteers are required to sign up for regular ‘shifts’ on an ongoing basis. Responsibility and dependability are key. Please be aware it can be physical and dirty work. Cleaning cages & pens is a daily chore shared by all. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

We are always looking for drivers to help transport animals when rescuers cannot drive themselves.  We also have a need for drivers to transfer animals to specialized care facilities.

Muscle and creativity are always an asset, if you want to consider being a part of our maintenance team! Carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills are often in high demand.

We offer a comprehensive Wildlife Internship Program. If you are seriously interested in a career working with wildlife, you may want to consider this program.
